Apostle Samuel Gyamfi hails from Dormaa Ahenkro in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana, West Africa. Born on 23rd March 1965 to Mr. John Kojo Kumi “Big Boy” and Madam Justina Mary Yeboah Gyamfi.

He attended Dormaa Secondary School in the Brong Ahafo region for his O level certificate and Acherensua Secondary school for his A level certificate in 1987.

He then attended Central University from 1992 to 1996 for his Bachelor of Arts in Practical Theology and his Masters in Practical Theology (cand).

He also has Masters in Conflicts Peace and Security from Kofi Annan Peace Keeping Training Center (KAIPTC), class of 2013.

He has passed through the following fellowships and ministries: Scripture Union, Jesus Deliverance Ministry and Heavenly Royals Ministry. He worked with Temple of Praise Ministry as an associate pastor, both at Sunyani and Accra respectively. He joined Bethel Prayer Ministry Int. which the founder is the late Bishop and Evangelist Dr. Paul Owusu Tabiri in 1997 and rose through the ranks from assistant pastor, personelle manager, and a national head in La Cote d’voire where he helped in establishing the following churches and branches: Youpougon, San Pedro, Bondoukou, Abenguro and Basam respectively. He also took oversight responsibilities over the Abobo and the Treichville  branches in Abidjan. Then he became the general secretary of the ministry BPMI (Bethel Prayer Ministry International) and currently, two times voted as the Chairman of BPMI.

He has travelled worldwide to hold revivals, crusades and leadership seminars, resolving conflicts (church and marital conflicts), counseling and raising leadership for the kingdom. These countries includes: the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, Bahamas and Togo.

He is married to Mrs. Joana Gyamfi (senior accounts officer) and has four children namely: Matilda, Samuel, Ernest and Blessing Adu Gyamfi.
